Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Updates to the Capex advance timetable and the Fixed Asset Register
• Perform monthly depreciation and submit the necessary accounting entry.
• Physically inspect the assets, look into any irregularities, and fix them
• assisting office Capitalization for new offices and build-outs
• upkeep of the tracker FA POs and use of it
• Before paying the invoices, receive the employee’s confirmation that the user equipment has been delivered. Look into the errors and fix them.
• Create and maintain the control file for all IT supplies provided to employees.
• When new assets are issued, prepare and update the FAR.
• When assets are returned, scrapped, disposed of, held by departing employees, etc., update the FAR.
• As required by income tax, maintain FAR.
• Give the IT and payroll teams the information they need to recover or calculate perquisites.
• Obtain yearly confirmation from employees regarding the assets they own. Look into the errors and fix them.
• To reconcile their data with FAR, work with the IT staff. Look into the errors and fix them. wherever necessary, make the necessary accounting entry.
• Work with the IT team to update the FAR on the affected assets on a regular basis.

Eligibility Criteria:

• With two to five years of relevant experience managing fixed assets, and proficiency in desktop programmes, financial systems, and ERP general ledger, a B.Com./M.Com. degree is required.
• Must have worked extensively with the Windows operating system and the following software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Oracle, and any other significant financial systems environment or ERP
• Should have extensive experience working in an MNC environment, particularly in the key functions mentioned above.
• To be able to perform his or her professional duties, an individual must have the motivation and personality to communicate with people at different levels and across functions.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are crucial. More than that, the capacity to communicate with the other person clearly and effectively.
