Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine the scope of analysis based on vague problem statements and utilize findings to guide informed decision-making.
- Summarize and effectively communicate the results of data analysis.
- Drive data analysis requirements for the VX organization to support weekly/monthly business operations. Establish regular communication channels for sharing insights and their impact.
- Exhibit proficiency in data-driven storytelling through reports and visualizations, adept at framing complex analyses into concise, impactful narratives for the VX leadership team.
- Develop and adjust OKR (Objectives and Key Results) targets to align with business goals and monitor performance.
- Forecast future trends and outcomes by analyzing historical data and current market dynamics.
- Conduct thorough data validation and testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analyses.
- Utilize advanced skills in SQL, KUSTO, and other relevant tools and technologies to fulfill ad-hoc insights requests promptly.
- Preferably possess experience with statistical programming languages like Python and SQL for data access, manipulation, and statistical modeling.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for business insights and possess skills aligned with data analysis.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrated expertise with the Microsoft data stack, showcasing advanced proficiency in SQL and adeptness in Kusto (Azure Data Explorer).
- Capability to translate business needs into understandable non-technical language and develop corresponding data models.
- Proficiency in managing multiple competing priorities within a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling the clear and concise presentation of complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Possesses strong analytical skills while maintaining a broader perspective, adept at recognizing and assessing opportunities to improve business performance.
