Key Responsibilities for Data & Insights Lead/:
- Understanding business requirements and potential data to determine the necessary data collection in Legal, its storage location, accessibility, and utilization for emerging technology solutions.
- Collaborating with central teams to optimize the use of centralized data sets, resources, and tools, identifying data to share, access preferences, and product creation opportunities.
- Managing data access to ensure Legal teams have appropriate access both within and outside the Legal department.
- Collaborating with Legal teams to proactively design, evaluate, and implement programs utilizing data to enhance outcomes for Accenture Legal. This includes initiatives that leverage data-driven insights and improvements in work processes.
- Keeping abreast of developments in data and insights, both internal and external, and integrating this knowledge into the strategy, short-term plans, and day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities for Analyst:
- Conduct analytical reviews of investment budgets, identifying missing information and preparing expense projection schedules. Analyze these projections to address any shortfalls, ensuring readiness for Accenture investment approval.
- Collaborate with asset initiation teams to validate costs, utilizing costing information and knowledge of commercial parameters. Use internal costing/pricing tools to ensure accuracy.
- Assist teams in analyzing asset costing, understanding variances, and providing advisory services on potential impacts on Accenture corporate MD&I investments. Analyze the financial impact accordingly.
- Prepare internal business cases by analyzing costs and relevant business benefits derived from MD&I spending. Validate the business justification for requested investments.
- Develop Go-to-Market P&L based on various market-facing partnerships constructed by Accenture. Analyze sales, growth pipeline, expected impact of investments, and review with Global Finance Leadership.
- Operate within the framework of US GAAP policies, ensuring a clear understanding of risks and opportunities in Accenture’s business under regulatory environments.
- Present financial contexts to Business leads and other stakeholders in the R&D Organization, using Budgeting & Forecasting techniques to influence outcomes and assist in decision-making.
- Conduct Financial Ratio Analysis using established methods to evaluate the risk-reward matrix.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree/ MBA/ CA
Preferred skills:
- Awareness of Corporate Finance strategies, tools, and techniques, including financing alternatives such as equity and debt financing. Familiarity with MD&I Investment appraisal, cost baselining, and due diligence. Proficiency in Budgeting & Forecasting.
- Working knowledge of accounting for business combinations, such as acquisitions of affiliates. Understanding of asset purchase or lease accounting, including capitalization issues.
