Key Responsibilities:
- Must have strong hands-on azure data platform with Databricks experience.
- DW/BI development experience on Azure cloud platform.
- Data Engineering/Development experience with Very Strong hands on in writing the complex SQLs, stored procs in azure SQL DW (Synapse) and Azure SQL DB.
- Strong development hands on background in creating pipelines, data flows and complex data transformations and manipulations using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and PySpark with Databricks.
- Experience working with different data storage options including Azure BLOB storage, ADLS Gen 2 and Delta Lake etc.
- Build and meet project timelines and manage delivery commitments with proper communication to management.
- Work with business teams and technical analysts to understand business requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
Preferred skills:
- Hands on experience with Azure Data Factory in building pipelines and orchestrate the pipeline execution.
- Teradata working experience is plus (Good-to-have, not mandatory).
- Past working experience on a fast paced and agile environment.
- Perform ongoing monitoring, automation and refinement of data engineering solutions.
- Experience working with an on-shore / off-shore model.
- Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
