Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure cloud-based applications using object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and concurrency concepts.
- Database Security: Plan, analyze, design, and develop databases while implementing industry standards and best practices for database security. Analyze and define database and information security requirements.
- RESTful API Development: Develop and implement RESTful APIs and web services, working with client-server architectures, networking protocols, and application development technologies.
- SQL and NoSQL Query Development: Develop and optimize SQL queries, back-end database stored procedures, and NoSQL queries using programming languages such as Go, Ruby, Python, Java, Node.js, and server-side JavaScript.
- Open-Source Contributions: Participate in open-source projects, such as Kubernetes, and contribute to open-source software development while collaborating effectively with open-source communities.

Required Skills:
- Cloud Development: Exposure to designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications using object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and concurrency concepts in a collaborative environment.
- Database Security: Experience in planning, analyzing, designing, and developing databases while implementing industry standards and best practices for database security.
- API Development: Exposure to developing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services, with an understanding of client-server architectures, networking protocols, and application development.
- SQL and NoSQL Query Development: Experience in developing SQL queries, back-end database stored procedures, and NoSQL queries using programming languages such as Go, Ruby, Python, Java, Node.js, and server-side JavaScript.
- Multi-Cloud Environments: Exposure to multi-cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid cloud infrastructures, as well as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
Preferred Skills:
- Open-Source Technologies: Exposure to contributing to open-source projects such as Kubernetes, Kata, and Operators, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with open-source communities.
- Software-Defined Networking and Network Resiliency: Understanding of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) concepts and network resiliency in cloud environments.
- Containerized Applications: Exposure to working with containerized applications using Kubernetes and developing solutions on cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, PowerVS, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
