Key Responsibilities:
- Perform financial data analysis to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights that support leadership decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial closing activities through data validation, actual-versus-forecast variance analysis, and period-over-period comparisons to identify key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor booking margins, discount structures, and profitability trends, providing actionable recommendations to drive business growth while maintaining strong financial performance.
- Extract, integrate, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, and appropriate data-processing technologies.
- Translate functional requirements into effective reporting solutions, calculation logic, and data models.
- Design, develop, test, and implement AI/ML solutions to address real-world finance and business requirements.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and executive reports using Microsoft applications and AI-powered tools.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), or a related field.
- Good working knowledge of core finance concepts, including financial statements, variance analysis, forecasting, and margin and profitability drivers.
- Strong financial analysis and business partnering skills.
- Strong technical proficiency in using AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude to analyze data, build models, and streamline routine reporting activities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a complex business environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong technical capabilities in leveraging AI tools and scripting languages such as SQL and Python for financial data analysis, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Ability to communicate complex financial insights through clear, compelling, and business-focused storytelling.
- Internship, coursework, or project experience applying AI/ML or automation techniques to finance or business-related problems.
