Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and implement quality control systems to ensure consistency and compliance throughout production processes.
- Perform visual inspections of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) to identify soldering defects, component misplacements, and other quality issues.
- Conduct final inspections of finished products and cabinets to ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify trends, investigate recurring issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, project, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous process improvements.
- Visit supplier facilities to monitor manufacturing processes and assess product quality.
- Document and report non-conformances and initiate corrective and improvement actions to prevent recurrence.
- Support incoming material inspections and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities to ensure vendor quality compliance.
- Participate in internal quality audits and support external audits, including ISO 9001 and customer audits.
- Maintain and update inspection checklists, work instructions, and quality-related documentation.
- Train production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and defect identification procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements and other applicable safety protocols during product inspection and handling.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Have 2-4 years of experience in a production quality role, preferably in electronics or Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing.
- Possess a strong understanding of IPC standards, such as IPC-A-610.
- Have practical experience with visual inspection techniques for identifying product defects and ensuring quality compliance.
- Demonstrate familiarity with ISO 9001 standards, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Possess proficiency in data analysis, root cause analysis, and quality reporting.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
