Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality software solutions by applying strong software engineering skills and industry best practices.
- Develop and deploy software in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment using at least one cloud framework.
- Select and implement appropriate data persistence mechanisms, including relational database management systems (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases, based on application requirements.
- Follow coding best practices and implement code quality gates in accordance with established program standards.
- Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) activities to evaluate potential solutions based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with various teams across Mastercard to ensure successful project execution and delivery.
- Work effectively within an Agile environment, demonstrating strong teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to shared project goals.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 6 months to 1.5 years of overall professional experience in a similar role or relevant technology.
- Strong passion for technology, with solid knowledge of object-oriented design and programming principles.
- In-depth understanding of product development processes and practices.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot. Experience with event-driven architecture is an added advantage.
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD) practices.
- Experience in cloud-based application development is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Excellent learning abilities, with the capacity to quickly grasp new concepts, technologies, and processes.
