Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop one or more services or components within the platform while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Own the complete project lifecycle, including user story development, design, implementation, testing, code reviews, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
- Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate software development, testing, and documentation processes.
- Follow established software engineering practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
- Collaborate effectively within a flexible, geographically distributed, and continuously evolving team environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science with a strong academic record, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in back-end software development.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
- Proficiency in Java and related technologies, including Spring Boot.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and evolving scalable cloud-based services using AWS or Azure.
- Ability to work independently, learn new technologies quickly, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
AI Skills:
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor for software development, code reviews, and debugging.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques for generating code, test cases, and technical documentation.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs or implementing agentic workflows into applications or development tools is an added advantage.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly in production environments, with sound judgment regarding code quality, security, and over-reliance on AI-generated solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, or Kafka is an added advantage.
