Accountabilities:
- Identify, collect, and extract data from various internal and external sources.
- Perform data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation to ensure data quality, consistency, and suitability for analysis.
- Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines to automate data acquisition and processing.
- Design and implement statistical and machine learning models to analyse patterns, trends, and relationships within the data.
- Develop and implement predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to generate business value through data science.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Write high-quality Python and SQL code to extract, transform, and analyse data.
- Visualise different types of data using Power BI and Tableau, while developing robust data pipelines to integrate multiple data sources.
- Develop, build, and maintain analytical tools using programming techniques to generate insights, identify patterns, and predict behaviours.
- Evaluate and apply appropriate analytical methods and techniques to address various data-related challenges.
- Respond to ad hoc analytical requests and effectively communicate analysis results, trends, and management information (MI) to a diverse range of audiences while managing workload efficiently.
- Demonstrate an active interest in technological infrastructure and contribute ideas and solutions to improve processing efficiency across multiple technical disciplines.
- Develop an understanding of financial crime prevention measures, systems, and operational processes within the organisation.
- Support the implementation and delivery of automation initiatives in alignment with the broader organisational strategy.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of or experience in the Financial Crime Operations domain.
- Working knowledge and understanding of end-to-end payment processes and flows.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ownership of daily deliverables.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Possess strong communication, collaboration, and coordination skills.
