Key Responsibilities:

Operational Delivery:

  • Collect, extract, and cleanse data for assigned workflows and datasets from structured and unstructured sources.
  • Perform data sourcing, tagging, loading, and basic enrichment activities in strict accordance with SOPs, rulebooks, and predefined validation checks.
  • Execute day-to-day data collection, extraction, and basic cleansing using approved manual and AI-assisted methodologies.
  • Accurately record production activities in workflow and queue management tools, maintaining clear notes for traceability and effective handovers.
  • Monitor assigned queues and proactively flag delays, blockers, data gaps, and unusual patterns to senior team members.
  • Follow approved rules and workflows, and promptly pause processing and escalate issues when inputs deviate from established guidelines or sources are unclear.
  • Meet defined daily and weekly production and quality targets for assigned queues.
  • Maintain clear logs and supporting evidence to facilitate basic root-cause analysis when issues arise.

Process Excellence:

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and follow established handover protocols and control procedures.
  • Consistently adhere to governance standards, internal controls, and documentation requirements.
  • Apply quality feedback effectively to minimize recurring errors and maintain a first-time-right approach.
  • Recommend small, incremental process improvements, such as checklists, prompts, and query snippets, for senior review and approval.
  • Participate in automation- and AI-assisted workflows and small-scale pilots under established governance, using approved tools and prompts to improve efficiency, exception handling, and overall quality.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with immediate team members to clarify requirements and resolve day-to-day data-related issues.
  • Provide timely updates to senior team members regarding production volumes, issues, blockers, and delays.
  • Participate in team stand-ups, huddles, and calibration sessions to align priorities, quality expectations, and process standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Freshers from the 2025 or 2026 graduating batches with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, based on business requirements.
  • Basic understanding of financial, market, or domain-specific data concepts relevant to the assigned datasets.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with structured and unstructured data formats, including Excel files, PDFs, regulatory filings, news, and vendor feeds.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Excel for querying, filtering, validating, and reconciling data.
  • Awareness of automation and Generative AI (GenAI) tools, with the ability to follow prescribed usage guidelines and workflows.
  • Basic understanding of data lifecycle concepts, including source, ingestion, validation, and publication.

Functional Skills:

  • Ability to perform data entry, tagging, and basic data enrichment activities accurately.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret simple source materials, such as regulatory filings, vendor feeds, and news content.
  • Ability to identify and escalate exceptions in a structured manner, providing appropriate evidence and relevant context.
  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively use enterprise data capture tools, workflow management systems, and ticketing platforms.
