Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all reconciliations are completed successfully and investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Review cash and asset position exceptions daily, research variances, and resolve discrepancies accurately and within the required timelines.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of published cash figures.
  • Perform data analysis to enhance transparency, support informed decision-making, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure issues are appropriately reviewed, addressed, and progressed to timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain strong expertise in team control mechanisms, processes, and reporting requirements.
  • Identify, prioritize, and coordinate the resolution of critical customer concerns.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, including discussions and reviews of key risk and process indicators.
  • Understand and comply with all regulatory requirements applicable to reconciliation activities.
  • Evaluate existing systems and procedures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  • Participate in efficiency and capacity-building initiatives, including automation and process standardization efforts.
  • Develop a strong understanding of upstream processes that impact reconciliation activities and assess the effects of process or system changes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation and train team members to ensure a comprehensive understanding of procedures and responsibilities.
  • Accurately record and maintain relevant performance metrics to provide management with clear visibility into team productivity and operational efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of financial instruments, particularly derivative products, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, including coding skills in VBA, SQL, or Python, and/or a strong understanding of data science methodologies and their implementation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow up on outstanding issues and determine appropriate courses of action.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and quality across all deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while maintaining focus on overall objectives and deadlines.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to communicate recommendations and solutions effectively to senior management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong professional relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
