Key Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end manufacturing test strategies for Cisco’s next-generation AI-powered hyperscale routers, from Design for Testability (DFT) assessments through mass production readiness.
- Design, develop, and deploy automated board-level and system-level functional test processes at global contract manufacturing sites to maximize test coverage and manufacturing efficiency.
- Create and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks and utilize data analytics to improve test capacity, manufacturing yield, and overall product quality.
- Perform product failure analysis and fault isolation at both component and system levels to identify root causes and accelerate issue resolution.
- Lead debugging activities by providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the manufacturing test and validation process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Hardware, Software, and Supply Chain, to support prototype builds and ensure a smooth transition to volume production.
- Coordinate with global manufacturing partners to optimize test processes, improve production efficiency, and maintain high product quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance manufacturing test methodologies, automation, and operational performance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
- Possess 0–2 years of experience in software, hardware, or product development.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the product development lifecycle, from concept and design through production and end-of-life.
- Be proficient in Python scripting for automation and testing tasks.
- Have foundational knowledge of data analytics and data analysis techniques.
- Possess a basic understanding of hardware communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and similar interfaces.
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrate experience with Python-based test automation.
- Have knowledge of data analytics and data science concepts and tools.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be comfortable collaborating with global teams across different time zones.
