Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare client financial and credit analysis prior to underwriting, including obtaining credit reports and conducting collateral evaluations.
- Perform annual reviews of lines of credit and provide recommendations for renewal, modification, or continuation.
- Analyze client information across multiple systems and conduct preliminary assessments against established credit criteria.
- Review, prepare, and maintain loan documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure all loan documentation and processes comply with applicable federal and local regulatory requirements.
- Develop a strong understanding of underwriting processes and lending practices to support progression into a Lender role.
- Collaborate with internal business partners and cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in Underwriting, Credit Risk, and/or Collateral Valuation.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of financial markets and investment instruments such as Mutual Funds, Equities, and Fixed Income products.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills while collaborating with business partners.
Preferred Skills:
- Have intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Maintain a strong understanding of operational controls to support an accurate and error-free work environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to evaluate existing processes and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across multiple organizational levels.
