Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable automated test scripts using Cypress.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of web applications.
- Identify, log, track, and coordinate defect resolution by working closely with development teams.
- Continuously optimize and enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA standards, tools, and best practices.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage while maintaining accurate and up-to-date test plans, test cases, and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and detailed test cases.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Possess 2–4 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer, Automation Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git-based version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or equivalent testing tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including cloud-based testing environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and deployment practices.
- Experience working with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Bamboo.
- Knowledge of code quality and security analysis tools such as SonarQube and BlackDuck.
