Key Responsibilities:
- Work on business analysis requests to address various business problems and support decision-making initiatives.
- Create analytical insights and findings for internal clients using data from UHG-specific databases based on defined requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with business users to understand requirements, generate actionable insights, and explain technical analysis in a clear, non-technical manner.
- Develop and execute analytical models in accordance with project timelines and schedules.
- Prepare impactful presentations, reports, and documentation to effectively communicate analysis outcomes.
- Perform quality checks on data and analysis to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency before sharing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to employment contract terms, company policies, procedures, and organizational directives, including changes related to work location, team assignments, shifts, work flexibility, and business requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4-year university qualification.
- Possess 1+ years of experience in analytics, machine learning, or business intelligence/business analysis projects.
- Have experience handling large and complex datasets for Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
- Demonstrate end-to-end experience in designing, deploying, and productionizing analytical and machine learning models.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the responsible and ethical use of AI technologies.
- Possess knowledge of bias detection techniques and mitigation strategies in AI and analytics solutions.
- Have a solid understanding of statistics and advanced mathematics for analyzing data patterns and trends.
- Be proficient in analytics tools and technologies such as R, Python, SQL, and Databricks.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Possess knowledge of predictive and prescriptive analytics techniques, including hypothesis testing, probability, supervised learning, and unsupervised learning.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Have experience in data manipulation, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and a foundational understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Show the ability to take ownership and independently deliver analytical and AI-driven use cases.
