Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and validate business, technology, and data requirements to establish project scope, define impact, and determine outcome criteria and performance metrics.
- Translate conceptual user requirements into clear and detailed technical requirements that are easily understandable by developers and project teams.
- Lead Program Increment (PI) planning sessions with business stakeholders to identify 3–6 month priorities and ensure alignment with long-term strategic business capability goals.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of data by supporting data governance initiatives and driving metadata population and approval processes based on business objectives.
- Collaborate with project teams to guide proposed technical solutions and direct Data Engineers on implementation-related activities and deliverables.
- Analyze, participate in, and provide recommendations for resolving production support issues in collaboration with Data and Analytics Engineers.
- Partner closely with Enterprise Architects to create and maintain data models aligned with the organization’s overall data architecture strategy.
- Utilize technology modeling tools, such as Power BI, to build working prototypes in collaboration with technical teams and validate user expectations.
- Identify and manage inter-team dependencies while collaborating effectively with capability teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5–7+ years of relevant experience working in a Data Analyst role.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Extensive experience in translating business requirements into data models and technical specifications for analytics, insights, and innovation initiatives.
- Strong innovative and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and provide recommendations across functional areas.
- Good understanding of system engineering concepts, object-oriented design principles, information risk management, security guidelines, and architecture standards.
- Hands-on experience with Analytics and Insights tools and technologies, including Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Analysis Services (AAS), Power BI, Python, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS G2), and data exploration and mining techniques.
- Understanding of finance processes such as General Ledger (GL), Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP transactional systems, including ECC, CRM, and Hybris, is desirable.
- Knowledge of planning applications such as Hyperion and Enterprise Planning Management (EPM) tools is an added advantage.
