Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines in production environments.
- Manage and optimize data infrastructure to ensure efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from diverse sources.
- Develop and implement robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple systems.
- Automate data workflows, including data ingestion, aggregation, and processing, to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Transform raw data within data warehouses into structured, consumable datasets for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data scientists and cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, and product) to deploy machine learning models into production.
- Build, maintain, and deploy data products to support analytics and data science initiatives on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, privacy, and compliance through established data quality and governance practices.
- Monitor the performance of data systems and implement optimization strategies to enhance scalability and efficiency.
- Apply data governance controls to maintain data quality, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance within assigned areas of responsibility.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in SQL, with strong experience in relational databases and database design principles.
- Possess hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouse solutions such as Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Have experience working with data ingestion tools, including Fivetran, Stitch, or Matillion.
- Exhibit working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Have experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Scala.
- Possess strong scripting skills using languages such as Bash.
- Have hands-on experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Demonstrate strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Show proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Possess a solid understanding of NoSQL databases such as CrateDB, Redis, Cassandra, MongoDB, or Neo4j.
- Have experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks such as Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Presto, or MapReduce.
