Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software solutions that require general domain knowledge while gradually building specialized business expertise.
- Work across multiple layers of the application stack, including front-end user interfaces and back-end development components.
- Analyze user requirements and business needs, and make informed decisions within defined parameters under regular supervision.
- Support and occasionally lead projects within the organization that involve moderate complexity, including the development of medium-sized system components.
- Apply a strong understanding of quality standards to ensure deliverables meet expected requirements with minimal revisions.
- Review complex functional specifications and other validation deliverables as assigned to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide peer support to team members and assist in onboarding and mentoring new Software Engineers within the team.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant prior experience in developing web applications, graduate-level project experience, or demonstrated success in application development using DrugDev Spark or an equivalent system.
- Proficiency in modern web development frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Python, React, Ember.js, or similar technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following best development practices.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing small to medium-sized system components within software applications.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy, quality, and reliability in software development tasks.
- Demonstrated technical and functional expertise in software development practices and tools.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical ideas and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Sound decision-making abilities when evaluating development approaches and resolving technical challenges.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to understand user needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Ability to manage and resolve conflicts constructively within a team environment.
