Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build robust data pipelines in Palantir Foundry, working with large datasets and Foundry Ontology models to ensure scalable and reliable data processing.
- Develop data transformation logic using PySpark and other Apache-based technologies to enrich, align, and transform raw data from multiple source systems into optimized and structured data models.
- Lead end-to-end data initiatives, including data ingestion, transformation, solution development, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning models.
- Drive industrialization by developing enterprise-grade data pipelines and AI applications, while establishing best practices for AI governance, responsible AI usage, and scalable data solutions.
- Support and enhance existing reporting platforms, particularly Microsoft Power BI, by updating datasets, resolving DAX-related issues, and modifying visualizations based on stakeholder requirements.
- Develop new reporting tools and dashboards to effectively visualize financial and operational data, enabling clear insights and improved decision-making.
- Automate manual processes by designing innovative data workflows, transformation logic, and reusable queries to improve efficiency and reduce operational effort.
- Take ownership of reporting issues with a solution-oriented mindset by analyzing root causes, identifying gaps, and implementing effective resolutions to improve reporting reliability and performance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrate proficiency in SQL and Python, with practical experience in building solutions using Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel), Microsoft Power Query, or Microsoft Power BI.
- Possess working knowledge of DAX, or demonstrate a strong willingness to learn how to design and manage business metrics and KPIs using DAX logic.
- Show the ability to work with large and complex datasets, applying effective techniques to clean, structure, and align data so it can be reliably used by business stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business users, explain analytical logic clearly, and translate technical work into understandable insights.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in writing user-defined functions (UDFs) in Apache Spark using PySpark to develop reusable and efficient transformation logic across multiple data pipelines.
- Follow systematic coding practices, including structuring code into logical steps, adding clear documentation or comments, and properly handling edge cases to maintain clean and maintainable code.
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git, with the ability to manage code updates, track changes, and revert modifications when necessary.
- Demonstrate an understanding of performance optimization techniques, such as reducing pipeline runtime, minimizing complex joins, and improving the loading performance of dashboards and visualizations in Microsoft Power BI.
- Prior experience with Palantir Foundry or working with financial data environments will be considered an advantage.
- Experience working on projects that involve integrating data from multiple source systems and transforming them into meaningful insights or business solutions.
