Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks by developing scripts and tools using Python.
- Maintain code repositories, manage branching strategies, and oversee release workflows using GitHub.
- Create and manage application build, test, and deployment workflows, initially focusing on non-production environments.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks, pipeline documentation, and deployment procedures.
- Assist in setting up monitoring and logging systems and support basic incident troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with developers to enhance build reliability and ensure consistent deployment processes.
- Follow security best practices, including secrets management, least privilege access, and security scanning.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrate basic programming and scripting knowledge using Python.
- Possess hands-on understanding of GitHub, including repositories, branches, pull requests, and code review fundamentals.
- Have exposure to GitHub Actions, including workflows, jobs and steps, runners, secrets, and artifacts.
- Demonstrate familiarity with Linux fundamentals, including file management, permissions, and basic command-line operations.
- Show understanding of CI/CD concepts, including build, test, and deployment stages.
- Exhibit good communication skills along with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
