Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and related database objects, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support application integration and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver appropriate database solutions.
- Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and implement data migration and ETL processes to support data integration and transformation needs.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and consistency across all database environments.
- Monitor database performance, implement necessary improvements, and apply patches and version upgrades as required.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including database design, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Provide database support across development, testing, and production environments.
- Demonstrate the ability to write and understand complex set analysis queries.
- Possess strong foundational knowledge of database concepts and management systems.
- Work independently while managing assigned responsibilities effectively.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including Design Documents, Test Case Documents, Deployment Documents, and Distribution Documents.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
- Demonstrate proven experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience in database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or other equivalent platforms.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of database design principles, including normalization and indexing strategies.
- Demonstrate experience in database performance tuning and optimization, including DBA-related tasks.
- Exhibit familiarity with ETL processes and related tools.
- Demonstrate the ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries efficiently.
- Possess experience in handling and processing large volumes of data.
- Demonstrate strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Possess knowledge of data visualization tools.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
