Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire, update, and maintain high-quality alternatives data using internal tools and software systems.
- Conduct comprehensive web-based research to collect key firm-level data, including company information, deals, investments, valuations, and other relevant metrics.
- Analyze and interpret company filings, transaction details, and both structured and unstructured data sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Update and maintain Preqin databases with accurate financial information, statistics, and relevant analysis to support client needs.
- Participate in complex data initiatives focused on improving data quality, process efficiency, and workflow optimization.
- Support bulk data updates, backfilling activities, and ongoing data enhancement efforts.
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and audit trails to ensure transparency and traceability of research decisions.
- Develop strong subject matter expertise to enhance the quality and value of the organization’s data offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support the development and improvement of data products and services.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English with strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant professional or project experience.
- High-level understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents.
- Strong curiosity about finance with a good understanding of financial markets.
- Experience working with Microsoft tools such as SQL, Copilot, Excel, SharePoint, and Office 365.
- Basic knowledge of Python is an added advantage.
- Ability and willingness to learn new tools, workflows, and datasets efficiently.
