Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled and motivated developers to deliver innovative technical solutions.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams across different geographies and time zones.
- Contribute to the full lifecycle of SAP application development, including design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Develop, integrate, and optimize applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal generative AI models.
- Apply prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to enhance model accuracy, reliability, and performance.
- Design and develop AI-powered business application agents to address enterprise use cases.
- Architect and implement AI pipelines, including data ingestion, embeddings generation, vector database integration, and knowledge retrieval mechanisms.
- Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to build scalable, production-ready APIs and user interfaces.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, optimization, and scaling of AI models in production environments.
- Evaluate and benchmark foundation models to determine suitability for specific business use cases.
- Implement guardrails, safety controls, and bias detection mechanisms to ensure responsible and ethical AI usage.
- Conduct research and experimentation with emerging generative AI technologies and methodologies.
- Document system architecture, technical designs, and best practices to enable knowledge sharing and reuse across projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field, with knowledge and experience in knowledge representation.
- 2–3 years of industry experience in a Data Scientist or related role.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack.
- Practical experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI APIs.
- Knowledge of vector databases and experience designing and managing data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience in model fine-tuning, embeddings generation, and prompt engineering techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including API development, microservices architecture, and version control using Git.
- Experience in AI agent development using open-source tools such as LangGraph; exposure to MCP server development is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with computational and data science libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, StatsModels, Keras, and TensorFlow, along with data visualization tools.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and pipeline management (desirable).
- High proficiency in SQL, with a strong understanding of relational database concepts.
- Experience leveraging GPUs for model training and deployment in production environments.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- Prior experience working with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) is desirable.
