Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather and define user requirements for assigned product features.
- Support the identification of dependencies and assist in the development of design documentation for product features under appropriate guidance.
- Learn to develop and implement code for products, services, or features, reusing existing code and components where applicable.
- Create well-defined testing and quality assurance plans, making informed decisions to apply the most effective testing approaches.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) by monitoring systems, product features, or services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions related to simple issues, and recommend corrective actions in accordance with established playbooks.
- Review existing implementations and proactively acquire new knowledge to improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance, while promoting consistency in monitoring and operational practices at scale.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- At least one year of system or application development experience with proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Rust, C++, C, C#, or Java.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with virtualization and containerization technologies, including Hyper-V, VMware, Docker, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop well-architected, modular, and component-based software solutions.
- Experience in improving service operations and strengthening core engineering fundamentals.
