Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites to ensure enterprise-level quality for AMD’s Software Compute stack.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, hardware engineers, and architects to align testing strategies with product design.
- Ensure thorough test coverage across GPU product features and functionality.
- Review product requirements and design specifications to create detailed, traceable test cases.
- Coordinate issue triage activities, prioritize defects, and drive them to resolution.
- Make informed priority and decision calls based on partial or evolving information when necessary.
- Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives across functional and performance quality assurance processes.
- Demonstrate strong ownership as a self-starter, independently driving assigned tasks through to completion.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
Preferred skills:
- Background in product development or systems engineering involving hardware platforms and their associated software and firmware ecosystems.
- Experience in test planning and test development for a wide range of industry-standard workloads.
- Strong knowledge of GPU, CPU, SoC, or overall computer system architecture.
- Working knowledge of GPU computing languages such as OpenCL or CUDA is an added advantage.
- Proven experience in large-scale data center engineering environments.
- Parallel computing skills, with hands-on experience in MPI programming considered a plus.
- Experience in Deep Learning, High Performance Computing (HPC), or GPU server-based computing is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and general computer architecture principles.
- Basic programming knowledge with exposure to system-level development.
- Experience working with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and containerized environments.
- Understanding of system-level, functional, and environmental stress testing methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, planning, and technical leadership skills.
