Key Responsibilities:
- Perform database testing using SQL, preferably with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) on Microsoft SQL Server.
- Debug testing issues, analyze root causes, and provide effective solutions with a strong focus on quality and a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
- Collaborate closely with Scrum teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless testing and delivery.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry best practices, tools, techniques, and trends in automation testing.
- Design, develop, and execute automation testing strategies and frameworks.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce functional defects and identify performance issues early, prior to production releases.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a BE, B.Tech, or MCA degree from a recognized institution.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with Core Java (version 1.8 or higher) and test automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress.
- Have proven experience in designing and developing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Possess experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Demonstrate prior experience in a QA leadership role, with a strong track record of leading teams to deliver high-quality software products.
- Exhibit strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to design comprehensive test strategies aligned with project objectives and requirements.
- Have hands-on experience in planning and executing functional, regression, and performance testing activities, with exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts; experience using reporting tools and dashboards to present testing metrics is preferred.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of integration testing practices, with hands-on experience validating interoperability across complex software systems.
- Have experience using version control and build tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Maven.
- Possess exposure to continuous integration tools and DevOps practices.
- Have a strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience working in Scrum-based teams.
