Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end technical projects from initiation through successful completion.
- Ensure project deliverables are aligned with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
- Coordinate engineering, technical, and procurement activities to ensure timely execution.
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL stored procedures, views, and functions with strong performance tuning.
- Analyze and work with diverse datasets related to payments and financial systems.
- Develop and support ETL processes and data warehouse solutions.
- Utilize Excel VBA to automate data processing and reporting tasks.
- Apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to derive insights from complex data.
- Collaborate effectively with business users and engineering teams to design optimal technical solutions.
- Initiate, document, and maintain business requirements and functional specifications.
- Assess the impact of projects and products on financial applications and related requirements.
- Review, troubleshoot, and resolve production defects to support business users.
- Develop automation solutions to streamline and optimize recurring operational processes.
- Design, analyze, and maintain dashboards and BI reports to ensure accurate and actionable insights.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1+ year of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in database programming, with a preference for stored procedures in SAP HANA.
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx for data preparation and analytics.
- Working knowledge of SAP FPSL (Financial Products Subledger), considered an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, or scripting purposes.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and their application in data and analytics use cases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in SAP and analytics within the payment industry, financial services, or management consulting environments.
- Willingness to participate in rotational 24×7 on-call support schedules.
- Ability to work with overlapping US Central Time zone hours, preferably between 4:00 PM and 1:00 AM IST.
- Proven experience in writing stored procedures using SAP HANA or similar database platforms.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, or business intelligence solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and SAP Business Objects.
- Prior experience working in an operations or production support environment.
