Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality industry, competitor, and client-level financial analysis to support the Global Banking (GB) and Commercial Banking (CMB) Relationship Management teams.
- Analyze financial documentation and supplemental data to support lending decisions and recommend credit requests that align with business requirements.
- Prepare detailed credit analyses for both new and existing business relationships.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed within agreed timeframes, meet performance level agreements (PLAs), and achieve the required quality standards.
- Adhere to all relevant policies, FIM guidelines, and procedures issued by the organization.
- Proactively identify, suggest, and design improvements to enhance process workflows where applicable.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and other stakeholders within GBM as needed.
- Remain aware of the operational risks associated with the role and ensure all actions consider the potential for operational risk throughout employment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A CA, CFA, MBA in Finance, Economics, or an equivalent qualification is essential, with additional professional certifications considered desirable.
- 0–6 years of relevant experience in credit analysis.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices is an added advantage.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong credit-writing capability.
- Hard-working, organized, diligent, and an effective team player.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and concepts, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Good knowledge of risk management principles and practices, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential business risks.
- Adherence to compliance and operational risk controls in line with organizational and regulatory standards, including timely reporting of weaknesses, compliance breaches, and operational loss events.
- Basic knowledge of HR practices, including recruitment, performance management, and employee development.
