Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to generate actionable insights for decision-makers.
- Develop forecasts, recommendations, and strategic or tactical plans based on business data and market intelligence.
- Define and create report specifications and analytical requirements in alignment with business needs and available data elements.
- Contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and tracking of metrics and dashboard requirements to deliver meaningful results, insights, and trend-based recommendations.
- Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure that data analysis and tools produce valid, meaningful, and actionable insights.
- Analyze data across various platforms, including social media, to identify emerging trends and patterns.
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence reports and analytical dashboards.
- Extract and interpret data, statistics, and information from multiple sources to prepare relevant reports, summaries, and briefing notes that inform business decisions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate their needs into data-driven reports, insights, and extracts.
- Optimize visual data presentations to ensure information is easily consumable and supports actionable decision-making.
- Maintain data accuracy, relevance, and timeliness by implementing robust data validation and update processes.
- Review and refine requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed analytical or technical solutions.
- Provide clients with the necessary support to implement data-driven recommendations and business solutions effectively.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another quantitative discipline (preferred).
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of data mining principles, predictive analytics, and data mapping, including the ability to collect and integrate data from multiple on-premises and cloud-based sources.
- Proven ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Skilled in identifying patterns and solutions within complex data sets and translating insights into actionable business strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across multiple teams while building effective professional relationships.
- Comprehensive understanding of current data protection and privacy regulations.
- Highly motivated and passionate about achieving measurable results through data-driven insights and statistical analysis.
- Strong technical expertise with sound knowledge of statistical concepts and methodologies.
- Ability to identify emerging trends, business opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Good awareness of critical business priorities and issues impacting strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in programming and querying languages such as SQL and SAS.
- Sound understanding of statistical analysis tools and reporting packages.
Required Experience:
- Demonstrated experience working in an analytics-focused role.
- Hands-on experience with data collection tools and analytical software.
- Experience in utilizing social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook for data analysis and insights generation.
- Proven experience in preparing and presenting Excel-based reports and dashboards.
