Key Responsibilities:
Test Requirement Analysis and Test Case Design:
- Understand and analyze test requirements and design effective test cases for the product.
- Author test plans with a strong understanding of business requirements and corresponding testable requirements.
- Implement Wipro’s model-based testing approach to achieve efficient test generation.
- Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify, capture, and version test cases.
- Define testing criteria, parameters, scope/in-scope items, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Automate the test life cycle processes at appropriate stages using VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc.
Automation Framework Design and Execution:
- Design and implement automation frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
- Develop and automate software validation tests by setting up environments, designing test plans, creating test cases/scenarios/use cases, and executing them.
- Ensure test defects are logged as per project/program/account norms with clear descriptions and replication steps.
- Identify bugs, prepare defect reports, and track test progress.
- Deliver work items with zero rejection or slippage, ensuring adherence to Wipro/Customer SLAs and quality standards.
- Design and release test status dashboards at the end of every test cycle execution for stakeholders.
- Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risks, and report findings to stakeholders.
Status Reporting and Customer Focus:
- Maintain high-quality interactions with customers through professional email communication, defect tracking, voice calls, and proper business etiquette.
- Deliver weekly status reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and update dashboards in the test management repository on time.
- Record accurate effort updates in eCube, TMS, and other project-related trackers.
- Respond promptly to customer requests, ensuring no complaints from internal or external stakeholders.
