Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately assess data, identify anomalies, create knowledge-sharing documents, and conduct custom analyses to uncover industry insights for Google’s customers.
- Solve real-world problems while learning from experienced leaders, and use data to quantify the business impact of Google’s media recommendations.
- Develop an understanding of the data lifecycle and its application across different business units, applying data-driven approaches to resolve issues.
- Gain hands-on experience with a variety of tools and techniques to distill complex data into actionable insights and make recommendations across business groups.
- Build expertise in essential data analysis skills, utilizing spreadsheets and programming languages to organize, process, and analyze data effectively.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Less than 1 year of professional experience in data analytics after graduation.
- Proficiency in using Google Workspace applications (e.g., Gmail, Chrome, Docs, Sheets) or similar tools.
- Strong English communication skills with the ability to understand and follow instructions, and learn effectively from training documents and presentations.
Preferred skills:
- Basic understanding of SQL programming.
- Knowledge of data analysis or a strong interest in working with numbers and patterns.
- Ability to handle ambiguous tasks, identify suitable solutions, and seek guidance when needed.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
