Key Responsibilities:

Processes

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Apply analytical and structured problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively.
  • Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and frameworks.
  • Develop good programming and debugging skills.
  • Handle raw and unstructured data efficiently.
  • Apply a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (Agile and Waterfall models).
  • Adhere to coding standards and best practices.
  • Utilize source control, versioning, and branching tools effectively.
  • Work hands-on with Big Data toolsets such as Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Spark, and Bash scripting.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries.
  • Use reporting tools such as Tableau, Dataiku, or MicroStrategy (MSTR) as an added advantage.
  • Gain familiarity with Enterprise Data Warehouse and Reference Data Management.
  • Work with job orchestration tools such as Control-M or similar.
  • Build and manage ELT/ETL pipelines in Hadoop environments.
  • Gain exposure to Azure DevOps for development and deployment processes.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Hadoop.
  • Experience with Apache Hive.
  • Hands-on expertise in PySpark.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with job orchestration tools such as Control-M.
