Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a 24×7 mission-critical environment, including shift work and weekends.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support to meet critical service commitments agreed upon with the customer.
- Troubleshoot complex, cross-platform issues involving operating systems, networking, and databases in a cloud-based SaaS environment.
- Handle live production incidents, debug, and resolve application and infrastructure issues.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve ‘Push-To-Talk’ solution issues by participating in live troubleshooting calls with customers, capturing application logs and network traces, and escalating issues to higher-level engineers when required.
- Deploy the ‘Push-To-Talk’ application and configure networks for seamless communication across servers.
- Monitor network performance, application performance, and service integrity.
- Develop tools and web services to parse application logs, system health data, and network captures, enabling faster debugging and reducing resolution time.
- Build automation tools for monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the ‘Push-To-Talk’ solution and create unified interfaces to display solution health.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Knowledge of basic networking protocols.
- Background in Linux/Unix administration.
- Ability to debug web-based applications.
- Understanding of Docker and Azure, including virtualized environments.
- Basic understanding of AWS CloudWatch.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to handle customer calls effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of databases.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
