Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, challenge, facilitate, and document business requirements, ensuring clear and complete business specifications are defined.
- Validate the overall IT solution to ensure alignment with business requirements, and review requirements and specifications with development and testing teams to ensure mutual understanding.
- Assess the feasibility and benefits of proposed automations by applying process, system, and business knowledge and experience.
- Collaborate with Transformation and Change Delivery process teams to ensure requirements and solutions integrate seamlessly into process flows without creating gaps or breakages.
- Help identify ways in which requirements can improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Ability to understand general business requirements and implement appropriate technical solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge across all phases of application systems analysis, including support and oversight for user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ability to manage ambiguity, create accurate project estimates, and effectively quantify project-specific risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proven planning and organizational skills, with the ability to create work schedules, prioritize workloads, plan ahead, and set realistic timelines.
- Strong ability to work with data and complex systems.
- Significant experience in the insurance or technology domain.
- Experience working with multiple Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, with a strong understanding of Agile principles.
- Familiarity with standard Business Analyst methodologies, including Use Cases, Business Rule Development, User Interface Specifications, Functional Specifications, and As-Is/To-Be Business Process Analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
- Detail-oriented, technically driven, creative, and focused on user needs.
- Ability to determine and communicate the impacts of system functionality and technical approaches on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Skilled at presenting information persuasively to leadership and business stakeholders.
- Effective stakeholder management capabilities.
- Adaptable to new or changing strategies, technologies, practices, or cultures; comfortable with change and able to transition smoothly.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
- Experience working with Oracle Finance and reporting systems is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
