Key Responsibilities:
- Review high-level concepts, block diagrams, BOMs, and detailed designs to ensure compliance with specified requirements.
- Lead team members to ensure designs meet requirements and that system interactions are effectively addressed.
- Review test setup equipment required for high-power electrical systems.
- Collaborate with in-house design teams and external third-party teams to define and identify specifications for key electrical components such as high-power contactors, fuses, sensors, transformers, and current transformers, and oversee their development to meet defined specifications.
- Review critical test requirements, including voltage drop, isolation, and electrical bonding of various components within the high-power electrical system.
- Support the mechanical team in preparing wiring diagrams, harness assemblies, and electrical drawing packages using 2D and 3D modeling.
- Review qualification test plans and procedures, acceptance test plans and procedures for various electrical components, and consolidate and review related test reports.
- Document designs and drawings, and support cross-functional teams during manufacturing transition and first article inspections (FAI) for electrical components.
