Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, coding, testing, bug fixing, documenting, and providing technical support in the assigned area.
- Ensure on-time delivery of tasks while meeting quality and productivity goals.
- Adhere to guidelines and checklists for all deliverable reviews, provide status reports to the team lead, and follow relevant organizational processes.
- Enhance technical capabilities through training, self-study, and periodic technical assessments.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Engineering graduate, MCA, or equivalent qualification.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
Competencies:
- Perform protocol testing activities on 2G, 3G, LTE, and 5G technologies.
- Conduct Modem/UE Protocol Stack Testing.
- Carry out interoperability testing of the modem with various network operators and work with NEM labs such as Ericsson, Nokia, and Alcatel Lucent.
- Understand network scenarios (signaling and user plane call flow), develop test plans and test cases, and execute these using an automation framework.
- Collect required logs and perform analysis and debugging of issues found during regression testing.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all 3GPP Radio Access Technologies (RAT), including air interface, network signaling, and Layer 2, Layer 3 protocols on both UE and RAN sides, as well as NAS layer from UE and core network perspectives.
- Develop automation scripts using Perl, Python, or TTCN scripting languages.
Platforms:
- Internal and customer-specific platforms based on Linux hosts.
Technology Standards:
- Strong understanding of 3GPP specifications and network vendor test requirements.
Tools:
- Experience with tools such as QXDM, QCAT, QPST, Prism.
- Knowledge of test instruments like Anritsu and Keysight.
- Familiarity with test scripting tools like RTD (for Anritsu) or equivalent.
- Experience with trace/log collection tools, core dump analysis tools, and flashing tools.
Languages:
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell scripts, TCL scripts, Python, Perl, etc.
- Working knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, and TTCN.
Specializations:
- 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, interoperability testing, and VSAT-SATCOM.
