Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize software for Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to ensure high performance and efficiency.
- Develop and enhance frameworks and drivers to support new use cases and applications.
- Design and implement drivers for various audio interfaces.
- Lead and contribute to design discussions across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and quality.
- Perform software maintenance, including debugging, enhancements, and support for existing codebases.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Skills:
- 1–2 years of experience working on any DSP or embedded processor.
- Proficient in C/C++ programming, computer architecture, and operating systems.
- Knowledge of multi-threaded programming techniques.
- Strong software debugging skills in real-time operating systems, preferably on DSP platforms.
- Experience with audio use cases such as playback, recording, and streaming.
- Experience with voice use cases, including circuit-switched (CS) and packet-switched (PS) calls.
- Ability to perform optimization for MIPS and memory usage.
- Knowledge of audio and speech pre/post-processing techniques such as echo cancellation, noise suppression, and audio effects.
- Familiarity with audio and speech compression standards including MP3, AAC, FLAC, AMR, and EVS.
- Expertise in using tools and techniques for DSP platforms, such as Trace32 and JTAG.
- Experience working with audio interfaces including I2S, HDMI, and SPDIF.
