Key Responsibilities:
- Ad-hoc data exploration for business LoBs or provide analytical support using SQL to measure KPIs.
- Learn about a range of data sources, including both tabular, relational data and event-stream data.
- By doing data queries and combining information from various data sources to build rich datasets that enable better decision-making, you may assist the LOB stakeholders in innovating through data-driven decision-making.
- Combining the different data sources that the platform has ingested into one comprehensive data model In order to do this, a dimensional model must be created.
- Work collaboratively with different analytics teams and multitask on projects to clearly and logically synthesise and summarise data.
- Identify untapped data opportunities for the company to maximise the potential of digital data within the organisation and to continue the ongoing technological review process.
- Make cloud-based applications to help with various data management functions (e.g. reference data management, master data management, data lineage).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Working knowledge of data architecture
- Technical proficiency in designing databases and building Dimensional Data Models; proficiency in ELT/ETL processes, reconciliations, and building data pipelines;
- Extensive knowledge of SQL and ELT tools like DBT or others.
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to gather, organise, evaluate, and communicate a considerable amount of information with accuracy and attention to detail
- Adept at conducting research, writing reports, and presenting results
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including how to use SQL to create reports and do ad-hoc studies on huge datasets.
- Knowledge of big data (Hadoop) and contemporary MPP databases
- Having knowledge of or a keen interest in learning more about different cloud ideas, such as object storage and publish-subscribe data structures
- Having knowledge of agile reporting development and being able to evaluate unstructured data and make objective deductions given the data’s known limitations
- Ability to define and track project deliveries through to implementation Proactive/self-starter with the capacity to provide value-added support to business partners in a dependable, timely, and accurate manner. Demonstrated ability to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context.

- The capacity to mentor other team members and work in a collaborative atmosphere to develop high-quality, maintainable solutions through the use of implementation patterns, design principles, and coding best practises.
