Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, develop, and enhance analytic models tailored to client needs.
- Query databases and conduct basic exploratory data analysis to generate reports and presentations using both structured and unstructured data.
- Develop methods for acquiring data that support data science initiatives and identify opportunities to improve existing data mining processes to reduce manual efforts.
- Demonstrate proficiency in at least one core area of analytics and apply relevant methods to solve domain-specific problems.
- Summarize complex concepts by creating visual models and representations that present insights clearly and enhance user experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Psychology, or Data Analysis; a Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Typically 0–2 years of relevant experience in statistics, analytics, or machine learning.
- Strong knowledge of data science methodologies, including but not limited to classical regression, neural networks, sequence analysis, cluster analysis, and text mining.
Other Skills:
- Proficiency in analytics programming languages such as R, SAS, SPSS, or Python, along with an advanced understanding of analytics deployment architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning techniques and mathematical modeling.
- Solid understanding of data visualization techniques and tools such as Spotfire, SAS, R, QlikView, Tableau, HTML5, or D3.
- Strong planning, time management, project management, and organizational skills to effectively balance and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to travel as required for project or business needs.
