Key Responsibilities:
Development Activities:
- Develop efficient, high-quality, and maintainable code while adhering to product release timelines.
- Translate architectural designs and technical specifications into fully functional software systems.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, design principles, and architectural guidelines.
- Assist team leads in preparing project time estimates and software design documentation.
- Design comprehensive test cases and perform unit testing to ensure system functionality.
- Demonstrate a proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple project tasks effectively.
Production Support & Maintenance Activities:
- Respond promptly to production support issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve system problems quickly.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding issue status and resolution progress.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 1–3 years of experience in software development using Python, AWS, and Spring technologies.
- Proficient in Python programming and XSLT transformation.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, S3, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and Glue.
- Over 1 year of experience working with JavaScript technologies.
- Solid understanding of iterative, use-case driven development methodologies.
- Proficient in Core Java (Java 8), J2EE, and application servers such as WebSphere or Tomcat.
- Experience working with Oracle/SQL databases and Unix/Linux environments.
- Skilled in frameworks such as Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and developing RESTful web services.
- Strong database expertise, with the ability to write and optimize complex SQL scripts.
- Experience with UI technologies like JavaScript, AngularJS, and ReactJS is a strong plus.
- Proficient in XML, XSLT, XSD, and other related technologies.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and implementation using common design patterns.
- Experience in writing unit-level tests using JUnit and Mockito; familiarity with Shell scripting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical aptitude combined with excellent communication skills.
- Exposure to Agile and XP practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, and continuous integration.
