Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac OS environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (e.g., Webex, LogMeIn, Bomgar).
  • Knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps, AWS technologies, and Desktop environments.
  • Basic understanding of virtualization technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.

Management Skills:

  • Proficiency in ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, RemedyForce).
  • Familiarity with Citrix and AWS environments.
  • Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, particularly incident management.
  • Experience handling inbound calls and providing technical support.
  • Ability to guide end users through troubleshooting steps via phone, email, or chat.
  • Escalating unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., software developers).
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple open issues simultaneously.
  • Documenting technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
  • Using internal databases or external resources to provide accurate technical solutions.

Behavioral Skills:

  • Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Proven work experience in roles such as Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or IT Help Desk Technician.
  • Providing prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
  • Ensuring that all issues are properly logged and tracked.

Certifications (Preferred, Not Mandatory):

  • MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert).
  • CCA (Citrix Certified Associate).
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
