Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions within Snowflake.
- Build efficient data transformation pipelines using Snowflake’s native SQL capabilities, including Common Table Expressions (CTEs).
- Utilize Snowflake’s advanced features such as Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, and Data Sharing to create scalable and resilient data solutions.
- Design and maintain data models using dbt, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
- Monitor and manage Fivetran connections to ensure accurate and timely data extraction and loading into Snowflake.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SQL queries, data synchronization, connection errors, and performance bottlenecks.
- Design, develop, and deploy AWS Lambda functions to support data processing, ETL workflows, and real-time data streaming.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 0–1 year of experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
- Experience in designing and implementing efficient data transformation pipelines.
- Proficiency in data transformation tools such as dbt and Matillion.
- Hands-on experience in building and managing data pipelines.
- Ability to write data transformation test automation scripts.
- Working knowledge of version control platforms like GitHub and familiarity with Agile methodologies and supporting tools such as JIRA.
Preferred skills:
- Snowflake certifications are an added advantage.
- dbt certifications are a plus.
- AWS certifications are preferred.
