Key Responsibilities:
- Be a key member of PowerSchool’s Cloud Operations Application Deployment and Decommission team.
- Support the provisioning, deployment, and decommissioning of cloud-hosted products, ensuring smooth operations across all environments.
- Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, including hardware, software, and operating systems, to support PowerSchool’s education technology platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving technology landscape to optimize cloud operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment processes, automation, and cloud resource management.
- Work in a team-oriented environment that fosters adaptability and collaboration to meet changing business needs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Up to 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
Technical Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience as an Application Support Engineer in a cloud-hosted environment.
- 0–2 years of experience providing customer application and technology support.
- Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
- Ability to manage service requests based on priority and ensure timely resolution with high quality.
- Experience working with ticketing tools like Salesforce, Jira, or similar platforms for tracking and managing service requests.
Key Competencies for Success:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal customers and partners via phone, chat, and email.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to collaborate within the Cloud Operations team and across functional groups.
- Ability to understand and recommend improvements to Cloud Operations processes, documentation, and tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in RPA development or Power Automate.
- Proficiency in scripting and coding using modern programming languages.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, MS SQL, and Oracle.
