Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and maintain data/information in Refinitiv databases in a timely manner using financial and technical knowledge.
- Ensure data quality, timeliness, and completeness by conducting root cause analyses for recurring issues.
- Take full ownership of and respond to data queries from internal and external clients.
- Research new data sources and review existing ones to enhance quality, timeliness, and automation.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing queries and data quality controls, identifying opportunities for automation where feasible.
- Test and provide expert feedback on new database and application releases.
- Build expertise in financial regulations and market practices relevant to assigned markets while monitoring market events to anticipate changes.
- Develop a deep understanding of Refinitiv products to deliver high-quality service and accurate data to clients.
- Support specific projects and initiatives related to data enhancements.
- Update daily reports, trackers, and production reports with accuracy.
- Train new analysts on market procedures, tools, and databases.
- Identify root causes of data issues in processes and implement robust, effective solutions.
- Collaborate with and assist senior analysts in implementing procedural changes in market operations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- B.Com/ M.Com/ MBA
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of fixed income instruments, including notes, debentures, and bonds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL at an intermediate level.
- Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills.
- Ability to perform effectively under strict deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel (including Macros), PowerPoint, and other tools.
- Flexibility to work in various shifts, including night shifts.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java is an added advantage.
