Key Responsibilities:
- Dashboard Development & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to deliver actionable insights to global teams.
- Data Analysis & Visualization: Analyze large datasets to identify trends and provide clear, concise visualizations that support business decision-making. Develop KPIs and metrics to monitor performance against business goals.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, understand data needs, and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
- Data Management & Querying: Extract, clean, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting. Utilize advanced DAX techniques to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
- Database Management: Collaborate with IT and data teams to enable seamless data extraction and integration with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Process Automation: Contribute to automating data processes and reporting workflows using Python or RPA tools to improve efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest Power BI features, analytics tools, and industry best practices. Propose enhancements to data processes and visualization standards.
- Documentation & Training: Create documentation for dashboards, processes, and reports. Provide training to internal teams on effectively using and interpreting Power BI dashboards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Power BI Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in building advanced dashboards, leveraging DAX, Power Query, and other Power BI functionalities.
- Excel Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the use of VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, and data manipulation techniques.
- Data Knowledge: Strong understanding of data modeling, data structures, and standard practices in data visualization.
- Analytical Insight: Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses, such as Snowflake, for data extraction and integration.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting.
- Experience with RPA tools to automate data collection, reporting, or other repetitive tasks.
- Exposure to machine learning or statistical analysis using tools like R or Python.
- Proficiency with additional analytics or visualization tools, such as Tableau, QlikView, or Knime.
- Knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write complex queries for extracting data from databases.
