Key Responsibilities:
- Define and articulate the long-term AI product strategy and roadmap, with clearly defined business metrics and desired outcomes.
- Solve complex business challenges by prioritizing and owning products and solutions to achieve business objectives.
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs by balancing the requirements of stakeholders and partners, while evaluating potential features against evolving AI adoption needs.
- Contribute to the entire product lifecycle, including market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements finalization, and product development.
- Translate product roadmaps into well-defined requirements and acceptance test criteria.
- Drive end-to-end development of ML/AI products in collaboration with engineers and designers, transforming MVPs into production-grade capabilities.
- Ideate and launch innovative ML/AI products and features, while promoting user adoption across Amex through innovative evangelization strategies.
- Curate and deliver technical training programs on AI, Cloud, Hive, and Spark, catering to users at beginner to advanced levels.
- Develop proof-of-concept (POC) solutions for cutting-edge AI/ML products with the potential to scale.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Strong technical expertise in AI/ML, with proficiency in Python, SQL, data analytics, and data visualization.
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and structured problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the Machine Learning Model Development Lifecycle (MDLC), including feature selection, feature engineering, ML algorithm families, optimization considerations, and challenges in model deployment and serving.
- Knowledge of Big Data platforms such as Hadoop and Spark, as well as cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience in designing and building big data tools and frameworks.
- Demonstrate creativity, self-sufficiency, and strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with experience working in global teams.
- Understanding of ML model deployment systems and processes, with foundational knowledge of model regulatory and governance policies.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, communicate clearly, and drive focus and excellence when working with strong, talented engineering, UX, and QA teams.
- Proficiency in notebook-based IDEs for AI/ML tasks, such as Jupyter and Airflow.
- Familiarity with product management tools, including Rally, Jira, and Confluence.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Statistics, and/or an MBA from globally reputed institutions.
