Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on applications and lead quality attestations for production release sign-offs.
- Oversee functional, non-functional, and regression testing activities for projects.
- Design and develop comprehensive test scenarios aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Utilize expertise in Java, Selenium, or other test frameworks to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites; identify, document, and track defects clearly and accurately.
- Adhere to the Agile methodology, managing sprint tasks in Azure DevOps (ADO), including sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
- Analyze production incidents to determine action items for QA and Development teams, contributing to production stability.
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance product quality and improve testing processes.
- Communicate testing metrics, progress, schedules, and issues impacting delivery effectively.
- Troubleshoot application, environment, or data-related issues as they arise.
- Stay current with industry best practices in quality assurance.
- Promote a culture of inclusion and diversity within the team by incorporating these values into recruitment, management actions, and employee engagement initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MCA, or a related field.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in software quality assurance within the financial services industry (e.g., Investment Banking, Asset Management) with a solid understanding of investment management processes, risk management methodologies, regulatory compliance requirements, or investment accounting.
- Experience with automation framework implementation and hands-on coding in Java is essential.
- Proficiency with IntelliJ IDE or equivalent.
- Skilled in manual, automation, and performance testing techniques (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Cypress, JMeter, SOAP/REST).
- Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
- Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux environments, strong SQL skills, and experience with databases (e.g., Sybase, SQL Server, Cassandra).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working within an Agile Development Team.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD integration, and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube).
- Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot).
- Experience with Cucumber and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Exposure to cloud-based testing.
- API testing experience with tools like Postman and SoapUI.
