Key Responsibilities:
- Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies, including local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc., based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting.
- Assist in closing the books and sub-ledgers by recording required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period.
- Facilitate the implementation of procedures and contribute to the development of analyses and reports.
- Deliver routine and defined outputs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Escalate issues related to transactions, processes, reports, or procedures as necessary.
- Apply established disciplinary knowledge within the specialty area while understanding related industry practices.
- Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, while protecting the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
- Drive compliance by adhering to policies, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Preferably 0-2 years of previous experience in a related field.
Preferred skills:
- Prior experience in Finance, Financial Services, or an Accounting Internship is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on MS Excel.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills consistently.
