Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirement documents to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications.
- Actively participate in Agile team meetings, including stand-up calls and retrospectives.
- Prepare technical documentation required for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
- Collaborate with various internal teams at State Street to facilitate project success.
- Understand cloud computing concepts such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, NaaS, and the fundamentals of AWS and Azure.
- Apply DevOps knowledge, including CI/CD concepts, and tools like Jenkins, Git, GitHub, and Harness.
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana to create dashboards and presentations.
- Work within Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and follow ITIL processes, using tools like ServiceNow and Jira/Confluence for ticketing and project management.
- Demonstrate knowledge of database, middleware, storage, and operating environment concepts for Windows and Unix.
- Use automation tools and languages such as R, Python, Ansible (AAAS), RPA (Blue Prism), and Django for automating network configurations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA degree or an equivalent in a related field.
- Possess working knowledge and skills in GUI development with Java for the middle layer and databases for the back-end to create end-to-end solutions (desirable).
- Understand the software development lifecycle and common practices, including code reviews and unit testing.
- Have a good understanding of SQL performance tuning techniques, such as query plan analysis, SQL tracing, database statistics, and indexing techniques (highly preferred).
- Be skilled at managing and resolving issues in a live production system environment.
